SUMMARY:Provide Pure Water And Fresh Food
DESCRIPTION:Oh God\, my uncle. How am I ever gonna explain this? The plans you refer to will soon be back in our hands. I suggest you try it again\, Luke. This time\, let go your conscious self and act on instinct. I want to come with you to Alderaan. There’s nothing for me here now. I want to learn the ways of the Force and be a Jedi\, like my father before me. As you wish. I don’t know what you’re talking about. I am a member of the Imperial Senate on a diplomatic mission to Alderaan–

SUMMARY:Jinja Tour for White Water Rafting
DESCRIPTION:White Water Rafting tour in Jinja is an excellent package for travelers while in Uganda. Jinja is located in the eastern part of Uganda – 85km away from the capital Kampala. Established in 1907\, Jinja is Uganda’s second largest town and former industrial hub. It is in Jinja where you find the exact spot where Lake Victoria releases its waters to the great river Nile (known as the source of the Nile). The town is quiet\, serene and relatively well planned with a lot of interesting activities such as bungee jumping\, horseback riding\, quad biking\, boat rides\, nature walks\, sightseeing and of course white water rafting to mention but a few. While on a true Uganda Safari visiting Jinja is one thing you must do. \nWhite water rafting is an amazing activity that teaches one how to handle pressure and remain calm under pressure. The activity takes you rowing through the turbulent sections and rapids of the river Nile in Jinja. The rapids in Jinja are graded 4 and 5 hence offering some of the best white water rafting experiences in the continent. The construction of a new power hasn’t stopped the activity from going on. Rafting companies have simply had to change the route and launching points. Whitewater rafting in Jinja is a long activity that also gives you time to relax\, mingle with other rafters\, spot birds\, enjoy the nature\, watch local fishermen working and women washing clothes along the river banks. Apart from white water rafting\, this 2-day package will give you plenty of time to enjoy the best that the town has to offer. You will have stops at Mabira forest\, the Ssezibwa falls\, visit the source of the Nile\, tour Jinja town and do three adrenaline raising activities (bungee jumping\, Quad biking or horseback riding).

SUMMARY:Days Ssese Islands Tour
DESCRIPTION:Ssese Islands tour is one of the best travel packages for local tourists in Uganda. A collection of 84 islands in Lake Victoria make up what we know as the Ssese Islands. Lake Victoria is the largest fresh-water lake in Africa. The Ssese islands are found in Kalangala District –  about 51kilometeres away from Entebbe town. The major activity on the islands is fishing but tourism is catching up real fast. The Ssese islands are one of the most popular tourist attractions while on a Uganda tour. Bugala Island is the largest and most visited. The other major islands include Bubembe Island\, Nsirwe Island\, Funve Island\, Bugaba Island\, Serinya Island\, Kitobo Island\, Kigungu\, Ngamba and Kalangala (where the district administrative offices are located). \nThe Ssese islands are characterized by pristine/clear waters\, white sandy beaches and virgin rain forest. The islands are located in quiet and sparsely populated areas which allow Ugandan’s escape (briefly) from the stressful life in the busy urban areas. Visitors to the Ssese Islands should expect to take part in several activities including canoeing\, beach games\, swimming\, nature walks\, boat cruises\, quad biking and off-course visiting the local fishing communities. The romantic atmosphere around the islands make them the perfect place for holiday makers\, couples\, lovers and honeymooners. The islands are excellent for birdwatching and small primates viewing (Vervet and Colobus monkeys). Birders will be amazed by the unique species found in the islands. Some of the species found include the Africa grey parrot\, Turacos\, the African fish eagle\, Jewel pygmy kingfisher\, Palm nut vultures\, hornbills\, paradise flycatcher and barbets. \nThis 3 days Ssese Islands tour begins from Entebbe or Kampala and will involve a tour of the large island Bugala. While visiting Bugala island\, you will be using the route through Entebbe – Nakiwogo landing site. You can however decide to use an alternative route that starts from Kampala through Masaka district. We encourage you to read our comprehensive article about the things to do in Ssese Islands. The article covers everything you need to know about the island. From the history\, administrative structures to the hotels. We believe the information given is one of the most comprehensive one you will get out there.

SUMMARY:Kidepo valley national park
DESCRIPTION:The Kidepo Safari package is ideal for those who want to visit somewhere different. Kidepo valley national park is found in the remote rugged and semi-arid parts of Karamoja. The park covers an area of about 1\,440 km2 and has been described as one of the top three parks in Africa by CNN Travel. This hidden gem is Uganda’s true answer to Kenya and Tanzania’s Serengeti.  While the park is not as well marketed or visited as other travel destinations in Uganda like Murchison Falls or Queen Elizabeth national parks\, the terrain\, unspoiled savanna grassland\, mountains and wild animals remind you of how the African plains once used to be. \nKidepo Valley National Park has variety and abundance of wildlife with a landscape that is perfect for a true African wildlife safari. Visitors will get to see elephants\, cheetahs\, ostriches\, hippopotamus\, leopard\, baboons\, giraffe\, wild dogs\, oryx\, buffalo\, lions and several antelope species including bush babies. Bird lovers have over 475 species to see. Because of its remote location\, the park is less crowded and visitors are given special and personal treats.

SUMMARY:Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
DESCRIPTION:Uganda gorilla trekking in Bwindi starts in Kigali Rwanda or Entebbe/Kampala Uganda. Starting and ending in Rwanda offers a shorter drive. It involves visiting the Batwa pygmies for a cultural experience. The Batwa pygmies were the original inhabitants of the Bwindi impenetrable forest park before they were relocated outside the park to pave way for mountain gorilla conservation. \nBwindi Impenetrable National Park is found along Uganda’s border with the Democratic Republic of Congo and next to the Virunga National Park. The park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its biodiversity and importance to overall ecology. It is a water catchment area that feeds off numerous rivers and lakes. Bwindi forest covers an area of 124 square miles of lowland and montane forest. These vast forests are home to 163 tree species\, 348 species of birds and 120 of mammals. Among the mammals in the park are chimpanzees\, civets\, elephants\, giant forest hogs\, golden cats\, Colobus monkeys\, red-tailed monkeys\, L’Hoest’s monkeys\, stripped jackals and mountain gorillas. The key bird species are the cream-banded swallowtail and African green broad-bill. Half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas are found in Bwindi impenetrable forest and Mgahinga National Park in Uganda. The other half are found in Virunga National Park in Congo and the Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. \nBwindi is the only park where both chimpanzees and mountain gorillas are found. There are currently 15 habituated gorilla groups open to gorilla trekking in Bwindi. Bwindi is special from all the other mountain gorilla parks because visitors can take part in a 3 days gorilla habituation experience. This experience gives visitors more time with the primates and in the company of very knowledgeable international researchers. \nThe mountain gorillas in Bwindi have been found to feed on more fruit than those in Virunga National Park. If you are familiar with some facts about mountain gorillas by now\, you will agree that Silverbacks rarely climb tries. Well it turns out that it isn’t always true. Mountain gorillas in Bwindi climb trees more frequently than those in Virunga national park (including the large silverbacks). Whereas gorillas in Virunga make their nests on the ground\, those in Bwindi have been found to build some of theirs on short sturdy trees. Mountain gorillas in Bwindi are also more mobile. This is attributed to the fact that they feed a lot on seasonal fruits. \nThough the overall population of mountain gorillas are growing and are now over 1000\, they remain endangered. Protecting them is very important because Mountain gorillas have not been known to survive in captivity. An attempt was made to keep them in enclosed facilities in the 1970’s but no infant survived. None of the adult gorillas survived for long in captivity. Only lowland gorillas have been found to thrive in captivity. Because of their fragile nature and economic value\, mountain gorillas are highly protected. Like we already mentioned\, the government of Uganda evicted the Batwa pygmies away from Bwindi and Mgahinga national park just to create more room for the mountain gorillas. \nGorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest offers visitors 17 gorilla families to choose from. One group in Rushaga sector of Bwindi has been earmarked for the mountain gorilla habituation experience. You can check out the shorter 2 day gorilla trekking Uganda package.

SUMMARY:Lake Mburo National Park Wildlife Safari
DESCRIPTION:Lake Mburo safari takes you to Uganda’s smallest savanna park for an amazing encounter with some of Africa’s famous wildlife. This particular package is excellent for family and friends who want to spend a weekend away from the noisy capital or from visitors who have come for a conference in Entebbe/Kampala. Lake Mburo National Park is found about 240 km away from Kampala\, along the Masaka – Mbarara Road. When coming from Kampala\, the park can easily be accessed through the Nshara gate after driving 15 kilometers away from the main road. \nLake Mburo National Park covers an area of about 260 square kilometers consisting of rolling hills\, savanna grassland\, rocky outcrops\, valleys\, acacia woodlands\, swamps and lakes. Lake Mburo National park is thought to be an extension of Tanzania’s Serengeti plains. Though the smallest national park in Uganda\, Lake Mburo has incredible biodiversity and landscape that is different from other parks in Uganda. Fourteen lakes are found within the park and each is surrounded by vast wetlands allowing over 300 species of birds to thrive. \nLake Mburo is a key attraction in the park. According to the local legend\, two brothers (Kigarama and Mburo) once lived in a large valley in the park. Kigarama had a dream in which he saw a great flood filling the valley. He warned his brother that they needed to move away from the valley and into the hills. Kigarama left the valley for the hills while his brother (Mburo) ignored his advice. Kigarama’s dream came to pass and a great flood filled up the valley drowning his brother. The flood left behind a large water body which is now known as Lake Mburo. \nLake Mburo National Park is home to various species of antelopes we will find out later. They thrive in the park because there are less predators. Tourists should also prepare to see hippos\, crocodiles\, warthogs\, bush pigs\, hyenas\, waterbucks\, Eland\, Topis\, reedbucks\, sitatunga\, zebras\, vervet monkeys\, side-striped jackals\, white-tailed mongoose\, otters\, baboons and an amazing collection of birds. Lake Mburo is the best park for spotting leopards. The main activities in the park are birding\, boat cruise\, cycling\, game drives\, horse riding\, nature walks\, quad biking and fishing. Talking about fishing\, Lake Mburo National Park is one of the best places for sport fishing in Uganda. Lake Mburo is home to 6 species of fish including the more common Tilapia and lung fish.
