Girls for school not Marriage
The director legal and women affairs Maisha Holistic Africa Foundation who is also a woman and girl child activist in Uganda Milly Nassolo last week had a menstruation hygiene, career guidance and counselling seminar with the young girls of Canaan High School,
the seminar was intended to encourage the girl child and empower her to stay in school despite all sorts of challenges, so many girls drop out of school due to lack of what to use during menstruation. Director Milly Nassolo , with partners and friends of the organisation gave out reusable sanitary pads Manufactured by days for girls Uganda, to all the girls that are at a verge of dropping out of school due to this challenge because girls belong in school not marriage.
